Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal here on Monday warned the police personnel of stringent action if any is found corrupt or abusing his or her power.
Khammam: Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal here on Monday warned the police personnel of stringent action if any is found corrupt or abusing his or her power.
The Police Commissioner, while chairing a meeting to review the police functions to check the crime rate inWyra and Kallur divisions, Tafseer Iqbal appreciated the police for discharging their duties during the distribution of cheques and pattadar passbooks under Rythu Bandhu scheme.
The Police Commissioner directed the Station House Officers (SHOs) to ensure that the personnel in their respective stations discharge their duties. He instructed the SHOs to focus their attention in investigation into crimes.
Additional DCP K Suresh Kumar, Assistant Commissioners of Police Rajesh, Prasanna Kumar and Ramanujam, Circle Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors attended the meeting.
