Container lorry gutted in Gadwal

Gadwal: A container lorry with a load of cots was gutted in a fire near Pullur oll Plaza under Undavelli mandal in Gadwal district on Wednesday.

According to police, a container lorry loaded with cots was going from Hyderabad to Bangalore. While moving on at high speed, fire broke out in the vehicle. Drivers of the vehicles on the national highway alerted on seeing plumes of smoke emanating from the container lorry.

By the time the fire engines arrived at the spot, the lorry was engulfed in fire. The lorry was reduced to ashes. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
