Collector visits venue for farmers panel meet
District Collector Gaurav Uppal on Tuesday inspected the arrangements for Farmers Coordination Committee (FCC) meeting to be held at Beat market in Nalgonda on Wednesday.
Nalgonda: District Collector Gaurav Uppal on Tuesday inspected the arrangements for Farmers Coordination Committee (FCC) meeting to be held at Beat market in Nalgonda on Wednesday.
The Collector said the main purpose of meeting was to create awareness among the FCC members on farmer insurance scheme scheduled to be launched on August 15 across the State.
Minister for Energy G Jagadishwar Reddy, Minister for Agriculture Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, FCC State Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, District Collectors of Nalgonda, Suryapet, Yadadri-Bhongir districts will be participated in the meeting, he added.
He directed the police department to regulate traffic and make necessary arrangements for security. Deputy Superintendent of Police Sudhakar, RDO Venkatachary, Agriculture Officer Narasingrao, Horticulture officer Sangeetha Laxmi, Fisheries Department official Charitha and others participated in the programme.
