Kothagudem: As many as 1,20,000 people will participate in the Yoga programme to be held at Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on International Yoga Day, the company Chairman and Managing Director(CMD) N. Sridhar in a note issued here on Wednesday.

He said on account of the International Yoga Day SCCL will organise yoga programme in all areas of Singareni with the participating of 120,000 people. The CMD ordered directors and general managers to make all arrangements for the success of the event.

He recalled that the Singareni had made it to Limca Book of Record in 2016 when 64,000 people had participated in the Yoga Day programme in all areas of the company. He said, now the record will break as more participants join the Yoga Day celebrations and do yoga at the Singareni.

The yoga programme has been conducted in all mining areas and clubs in and around the SCCL since last five days. He also appealed to all staff members and workers and area people to participate in the event and make it a grand success.
