TS Govt appoints principals for medical colleges
The State government has announced the names of the principals for the two medical colleges to be established in Nalgonda and Suryapet districts. Dr K Durga has been appointed as principal of medical college in Suryapet and Dr Ch N Rajakumari for medical college in Nalgonda.

Both colleges are scheduled to start functioning from the next academic year. Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy took the initiative in ensuring that principals were appointed for the colleges.
Dr Durga is professor and head of the department of Pathology Department at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad. Dr Rajakumari is professor and head of the department of Physiology Department at Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal.
Meanwhile, Jagadish Reddy met Minister for Health C Laxma Reddy and Minister for Finance Eatala Rajender and discussed with them the status of medical colleges in Nalgonda and Suryapet. The Minister expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for sanctioning medical colleges to the two districts.
