Khammam: A seminar on ‘Social Justice-Role of Voters’ would be organised by ‘Telangana Mass and Social Organisations Forum’ (T-MASS) on July 26 at Manchikanti Bhavan in Khammam, informed district convenor of the T-MASS Forum Yerra Srikanth here on Thursday.
Addressing a meeting with the leaders of the T-MASS here at Manchikanti Bhavan, Srikanth alleged that instead of allotting seats to the people belonging to SC, ST, BC and Minority communities, various political parties were trying to use them as their vote bank in the upcoming elections.
To face such situation successfully, several awareness programmes would be organised to educating the people belonging to SC, ST, BC and Minority communities, he said.
All people belonging to SC, ST, BC and Minority communities must fight united against the political parties with the motto of ‘Our Votes-Our Seats’ (Votlu Maavi-Seatlu Maavi) and get rid of the concept of political parties), he appealed.
He urged the people of all walks and representatives of various people’s organisations to attend the seminar in large numbers, which was going to be held on July 26 and make it a grand success.
T-MASS leaders M Bharati, T L Narasaiah, Y Srinivas Rao, M A Jabbar, M Upendar, G Rama Devi, S Naveen Reddy, Md Gouse, T Lingaiah, M Nageswara Rao, B Upendar, N Pullaiah and D Nageswar Rao were present along with others.
