Suryapet: District Collector K Surendra Mohan here on Monday directed the officials to make all necessary arrangements for Independence Day celebrations on August 15.
After receiving petitions from the people at District Collectorate meeting hall, the Collector held convergence meeting with all district officials. Speaking on the occasion, Surendra Mohan said Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy would attend the celebrations as a chief guest and hoist the national flag at the Police Parade Grounds in Suryapet.
He directed the officials concerned to make preparations to instal department stalls and organise vehicles exhibiting the development works
He ordered officials of Medical and Health Department to pay special attention and make necessary arrangements for launching of government flagship programme Kanti Velugu on Independence Day.
He advised official concerned to hand over Rythu Beema insurance bonds to the farmers from August 15/ DRO P.Yadi Reddy, DRDA PD Kiran Kumar, GM District Industries Babu Rao, lead bank manager Srinivas, RDO Mohan Rao and other district officials participated.
