With the Hyderabad Metro Rail, all set for launch on November 28, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is deploying more buses to provide services from the Metro stations.

Speaking in this regard, Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy on Thursday said the metro rail services would not affect the TSRTC adding that the corporation would operation 50 buses at 10 metro station routes.

He informed that 29 buses are allotted in six metro station routes connecting IT corridor and 21 buses in four routes connecting several colonies adding that a bus would be available every 10 minutes.

Plans are also in progress to operate the electric buses.

The Minister also responded on the issues passengers are facing due to lack of bus shelters and said that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and IT Minister KT Rama Rao have issued orders to resolve the matter.
