KCR piqued by tardy pace of works
During his visit to Yadadri hill shrine on Friday, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed his concern over the delay in execution of temple modernisation works and directed the officials concerned to expedite the works to avoid further inconvenience to devotees.

Earlier, the priests of the shrine welcomed the Chief Minister and his family members with ‘Purna Kumbham’. The Chief Minister had the darshan of the presiding deity, Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy, and performed special pujas on the day. Later, the Chief Minister along with Endowment Minister A Indrakaran Reddy and Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy inspected the ongoing temple works. After examining Swayambhu temple, Raja Gopurams, Shivalayam, Mada streets, Kakatiya pillars and Potu (kitchen), KCR has gave some suggestions to the officials concerned.
During a review meeting with the heads of all departments, the Chief Minister expressed his displeasure over slow progress of works and called for speedy execution. He also examined the developmental works at Peddagutta and Pathagutta. Before visiting the shrine, KCR and his family members attended the wedding of TRSV state vice-president Tunga Balu at Milargudem of Yadagirigutta and blessed the couple.
District Collector Anita Ramachandran, Bhongir MP Boora Narsaiah Goud, Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha, MLAs Shekar Reddy, Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy and Gadhari Kishore, Greater Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, TRS State Secretary Chada Kishan Reddy, Yadadri Temple Development Authority (YTDA) vice-chairman Kishan Rao, Temple Executive Officer Geetha Reddy, architect Anand Sai, R&B, revenue and forest department officials were present. Meanwhile, a large number of police was deployed during CM’s visit. District DCP Ramachandra Reddy along with other top cops supervised the security arrangements to avoid any untoward incidents during the Chief Minister’s tour.
