Traffic curbs for Metro Rail inauguration
In view of Hyderabad Metro Rail inauguration on November 28, the Cyberabad Police have imposed certain restrictions on the movement of vehicular traffic.
Hyderabad: In view of Hyderabad Metro Rail inauguration on November 28, the Cyberabad Police have imposed certain restrictions on the movement of vehicular traffic.
According to the Traffic Advisory issued today, the vehicular traffic proceeding from Miyapur towards Kondapur/Kothaguda will be diverted through Chandanagar, Nallagandla flyover, Gulmohar Park Junction, Hyderabad Central University, via Gcahibowli. Similarly, the traffic proceeding to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport from Miyapur will be diverted through Chandanagar, Patancheru, ORR towards RGIA. Vehicles leaving from Mathrusri Nagar will be diverted via Sheela Park Pride to Manjeera road and those coming from Patancheru, ICRISAT Beeramguda, RC Puram, Ashok Nagar and BHEL towards Kukatpally/Hyderabad will be diverted via BHEL Rotary, Nallagandla flyover, Gulmohar Park Junction, Hyderabad Central University, Mehidipatnam to Hyderabad. The vehicular traffic coming from Zaheerabad, Narayankhed, Sangareddy towards Kukatpally/Hyderabad will be diverted through ORR Muttangi.
The above restrictions shall be in force between 3:00 P.M to 4.30 P.M
All the delegates after the GES inauguration will leave towards Hyderabad from HICC, Madhapur at 7.00 pm. In view of this, all the commuters going from and towards Kothaguda, Botanical Garden, Gachiowli and ORR have been advised to take alternate route between 6 PM to 8 PM. Gachibowli flyover will however be kept open throughout.
Public have been requested to co-operate with Traffic Police by using these routes only if it is an emergency situation as there would be frequent blocks due to the VVIP movements. The staff working in IT corridor is advised to make a note of this and make alternative arrangements
