Movie time for Hare Krishna devotees
Devotees and followers of Hare Krishna across twin cities amassed to watch the first Indian screening of ‘Hare Kirshna –The Mantra, the movement and swami who started it all’ here recently.
Punjagutta: Devotees and followers of Hare Krishna across twin cities amassed to watch the first Indian screening of ‘Hare Kirshna –The Mantra, the movement and swami who started it all’ here recently.
The movie filmed on the biopic of their founder Abhaya Charanaravindra Bhakti Vedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada witnessed more than 3,000 devotees at the screening. Swamis of Hare Krishna movement Hyderabad led by Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa president of Hare Krishna movement Telangana and AP along with others watched this movie.
The devotees performed Mass Harinama Sakirtana at the theatre and encouraged everyone to participate along. Later, they distributed prasadam for the visitors. A representative of the community said they have blocked the theatre for a few days for devotee groups watch this devotion biopic.
