Bomb blast kills Sarpanch in Nalgonda

The deceased, Dharma Naik was sleeping on the balcony of his house at Nagarjunapeta Thanda in Tirumalagiri (Sagar) mandal.
According to the reports, the assailants placed the bomb under the bed and blew it up around midnight on Monday when he was fast asleep.
The intensity of the bomb was so much that the body was scattered around the premises and a panic situation spread across the district.
The police rushed to the spot and are investigating. In the wake of the incident, a large police force has been deployed in the village as a precautionary measure.
