Supernatural Jug: Gang Dupes Nellore Realtor of Rs 1.13 crore
A gang of conmen duped a realtor of more than one crore rupees by luring him with a jug that has supernatural powers at Bobbili in Vizianagaram district.
Bobbili: A gang of conmen duped a realtor of more than one crore rupees by luring him with a jug that has supernatural powers at Bobbili in Vizianagaram district.
The Ramabhadram police busted the gang and recovered Rs 1 lakh in cash and the utensil (jug) that has supernatural powers on Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as V Sheshagiri, a native of Sullurpet in Nellore district. Recently, he developed friendship with one Mohan belongs to Hyderabad. Mohan introduced his friend Venkat to Sheshagiri.
Mohan had told Sheshagiri that he has a jug that has supernatural powers which will make his real estate business flourishing.
Convinced over his words, Sheshagiri came to Vizianagaram and struck a deal of Rs 1.13 crore for the jug in the month of August last year. He also given them a token amount of Rs 13 lakhs. However, they did not turn nor they replied to his numerous phone calls. Learning that he was duped by the gang, Sheshagiri approached the police and lodged a complaint. A case of cheating was registered and the police caught the offenders.
