Hyderabad: Woman thrashed brutally for switching off husband's WiFi connection

While the world celebrates Women’s Day, a 30-year old woman faced brutal abuse from her husband in Hyderabad.
The victim, Reshma Sultana on Wednesday was thrashed by her husband, Omer Pasha reportedly for switching off his WiFi connection in the midnight to make him go to bed.
Reshma is currently undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital.
The family members stated that Reshma reportedly switched off the router of her husband as he continued to be surfing the internet beyond midnight.
The couple who have been married for six years are parents to three daughters. They reside in Maktha area opposite Raj Bhavan in Somajiguda.
Reshma’s mother lodged a complaint with the police who informed that the couple often has marital disputes.
A case is yet to be registered and the matter has been referred to the Women police station for counselling.
