Uttam Kumar Reddy: Utmost importance will be given to women under Congress rule

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief, Uttam Kumar Reddy at a public meeting held at Karimnagar on Thursday, as a part of Praja Chaitanya Yatra spoke in regard to the International Women’s Day is celebrated across the world.
Announcing that women will be given utmost importance once Congress comes to power in Telangana next year, he said that the Congress Party fully supports the Women's Reservation Bill pending in Parliament and urged the party workers to convey this message to all women.
Uttam Kumar Reddy further assured to increase the wages of Village Organisation Assistance (VOAs) from Rs. 3,000 at present to Rs. 10,000 under Congress rule.
