Expressing confidence that the budget session of the Legislature would bring in constructive deliberations useful in evolving policies to achieve the goal of Bangaru Telangana, he mentioned that the state’s government policies and initiatives have led to Telangana become a role model for the entire country.

Be its uninterrupted power supply to all sections, Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha, the Governor said that the welfare schemes implemented by Telangana government ensured overcoming several challenges.

Speaking on the state’s economy and its growth, he said that the proactive policies taken up has resulted in impressive economic growth since Telangana’s formation.

Narasimhan also stated the that the TSiPASS policy introduced by the government has emerged as the favourite destination for industry establishment in the country.

He also spoke about the measures to be taken to improve the fisheries, agriculture sector, horticulture, the sheep distribution programme and the land records updation programme.

While the Governor’s address marked the beginning of the Budget Session of the state Legislature, the joint sitting of the two Houses was adjourned after the address.

Both the Assembly and Council will continue their sessions from Tuesday.
