The Hyderabad Metro Rail has increased the frequency of services as a train will now run every seven minutes during peak hours and every eight minutes during non-peak hours.

Previously, the possibility was one train every 15-minute frequency.

IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao announced the news on Twitter stating that the Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) had cleared the new signalling system, thus resulting in the frequency to be doubled.

The new move will be put into force on the 30km stretch of Miyapur-Ameerpet-Nagole from 6 am on Saturday as per the tweet posted by KTR.
