TDP gears up for Dharma Poratam event on May 22

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) coordination committee held a meeting in Vijayawada on Wednesday regarding the Dharma Poratam meeting scheduled in Visakhapatnam on May 22.

The arrangements for the successful conduct of Mahanadu, a three-day annual event of the party were also discussed. 

With Chief Minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu taking stock of the boat capsize incident in River Godavari, AP TDP chief K Kala Venkata Rao will be organising a meeting on Thursday at the venue of Mahanadu - Siddhartha Engineering College in Kannur, to review the arrangements including providing accommodation to representatives, parking, food, registration and issue of entry cards, cultural events.

Both Vijayawada and Guntur cities have been chosen to be decorated for the Mahanadu as part of the TDP’s plan to organize the event on a grand scale.
