Former Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya of the Bharatiya Janata Party lashed out at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday for working closely with the Congress in the name of his proposed federal front.

Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, he questioned as to why the TRS leaders would attend the swearing-in ceremony of HD Kumaraswamy in Karnataka adding that the TRS MP Kavitha should comprehend that the scope of stable government by regional parties is less compared to national parties.

Dattatreya even criticised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu saying that the latter had no moral right to flay BJP’s attempt to form a government in Karnataka, it being the single largest party.

The BJP veteran leader termed the post-poll alliance of Congress and JD (S) as unholy and expressed doubts on the alliance continuing for long.
