Pan shop owner dupes girls with drugged Pans in Hyderabad, arrested

Another heinous crime has come to light, Mahendra Verma, the owner of the famous Mayur pan house, was arrested by the police on the complaint of a victim on Thursday.

According to the police, the accused used to trap girls via Facebook, promise them marriage and the ones who fell for his tricks were dosed with drugs in the form of sweet pans.

He later assaulted them and videotaped them, further threatening to put those videos on YouTube if they don’t comply with his requests.

In a recent incident, Upendra Verma got close to a woman who is a software engineer through Facebook. Upon discovering his antics, she lodged a complaint at Kachiguda police station against Varma following which he was arrested. The police recovered a number of photos of girls at his place. A case was registered against the accused and the police are yet to nab three other friends who cooperated with him in these antics.
