Andhra Pradesh Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao astonished by coming to know that people are charged Rs 5 for using toilets in Vijayawada RTC bus station.
At a meeting with Protection Council, the members brought to the notice of the minister the hefty charges collected from the passengers by the RTC authorities. Stunned minister immediately called his cabinet colleague Acchan Naidu and enquired as to why such burden was imposed on toilet users. He assured of taking measures soon.
People informed the minister that the authorities are also collecting big money from people in other bus stations also.
