Jupadu Bunglow people mistake Telangana cops for thieves, thrash them
The Telangana police found themselves at the wrong end of the lathi on Sunday. Telangana police, who went in muftie to nab a woman who had kidnapped some minor girls hiding in Ramasamudram village of Jupadu Banglow mandal in Kurnool district, were tied and thrashed by the locals.

The locals mistook them for thieves as they were not in uniform. Later, local police, who were informed about the incident, came and rescued them. The Kurnool police said the Telangana police did not inform them about their operation.
The police were searching for a woman who had kidnapped a 12 year old girl from Mahabubnagar. The woman came to Nandikotkur and found shelter in the house of one Ghani. The police of Balanagar in Mahabubnagar later took the girl and the two minors she broght with her.
