Vested interests obstructing Polavaram:Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said some people were deliberately spreading misinformation about Pattiseema project.

Speaking after releaseing water from East Delta sluice of the Prakasam Barrage to Krishna delta, he said that vested interests were trying to put spokes in the Polavaram project and added that these inimical elements were also preventing the farmers from parting from their lands for the project.

Despite all these impedements, we are working towards completing Polavaram project. He said till now 56 per cent of the Polavaram works were completed.
