Amaravati: The AgriGold scam probe has made a key progress when the State Government has identified some assets locked in the name of the director of the company. The State Government has identified some 200 acres of land in the name of the director inNellore, Chittoor and Visakhapatnam.
The Government has written to the police department to attach these properties, which are estimated to be worth of Rs 8.5 crore. These assets would be used to compensate the thousands of the depositors who had invested in the company.
