Ponnala Laxmaiah leads protest in Janagaon

Congress leaders led by former TPCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah staged a dharna before the TSRTC Bus depot in Janagaon on Monday morning, as part of partys Bharat Bandh call, in protest against rising fuel prices as well as the fall in the value of the Rupee in comparison to the US Dollar
Janagaon/Warangal: Congress leaders led by former TPCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah staged a dharna before the TSRTC Bus depot in Janagaon on Monday morning, as part of party’s Bharat Bandh call, in protest against rising fuel prices as well as the fall in the value of the Rupee in comparison to the US Dollar. The Left party leaders participated in the protest.
The police took several protestors, including Ponnala Laxmaiah, into custody. Similar demonstrations are being reported in the erstwhile district of Warangal.
