Purandeswari says BJP has no role in warrant to Chandrababu

Update: 2018-09-15 00:07 IST

Amaravati: The BJP has made it clear that it has nothing to do with the notices issued by the Dharmabad court in Maharashtra to AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

BJP senior leader Daggubati Purandeswaru has said that the case pertains to 2010 and that the BJP was not even remotely connected with the case. She said that the AP Government should ask the Maharashtra Government about the case. She decried the TDP attempts to link the notices with the Central Government.

On Polavaram, she said that the BJP Government at the Centre was committed to the early completion of the project. It is a national project. She also ridiculed the TDP argument that the Central Government was doing injustice to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
