GHMC gears up for Ganesh idol immersion

The GHMC also decided to provide 30 lakhs water sachets to the public during the procession
Around 117 static cranes and 96 mobiles cranes will be made available at the water bodies in the city by the GHMC to immerse Ganesh idols on September 23.
Along with the cranes, expert swimmers, 10 special boats will also be deployed at the water bodies.
The GHMC has already repaired the roads by covering up potholes across the Ganesh procession route. It is learned that the GHMC has spent around Rs 16.86 crore for making all the arrangements.
In addition to the arrangements, the GHMC also decided to provide 30 lakhs water sachets to the public during the procession.
