Summers can be so much fun! We can go on holiday to beaches, for fishing, in the warm and sunny weather. While avoiding a tan is impossible owing to our hot summers, removing one isn’t. Here are some home remedies to remove your tan.

Lemon: Cut a lemon and rub a slice on your tanned skin, wait for 10 minutes and wash it off.

Cucumber: Mix one tbsp cucumber, lemon and rose water in a bowl and dab it generously on your tanned skin.

Gram flour: Mix a tiny amount of turmeric with two tbsps of gram flour, milk and one-tbsp rose water. Apply to tanned areas and leave it be for 15-20 minutes before taking it off.

Yoghurt: Mix one tbsp of yoghurt with tomato juice and slather the paste that’s formed on tanned areas. Let it be for half an hour before washing off with water.

Almonds: Mix 4-5 almonds, rose water with a tsp lemon juice. Apply this paste on the affected area and scrub for a minute or two. Leave the scrub on for 3-4 minutes and then rinse with water. It will remove sun tan.

Aloe andMultani Mitti: Mix 2 tbsps multani mitti, 1 tbsp aloe vera gel with rose water. Apply this on the face and neck and keep it on for 15 minutes and then rinse with water. It cools and soothes acne and sunburns in a matter of few days.
