In a span of four days, Bengaluru has recorded 135 mm of rainfall, which happens to be more than its monthly rainfall in July. However, the intensity and the spread of the rainfall has been more during the last 24hours.

In a span of four days, Bengaluru has recorded 135 mm of rainfall, which happens to be more than its monthly rainfall in July. However, the intensity and the spread of the rainfall has been more during the last 24hours.

The ill-maintained roads have been flooded while the numerous lakes across the city and also the streets of Bangalore are filled with water.

The police and the fire department have been trying their best to find a solution for the situation. The fire department is using boats to rescue people who were stuck in the rains. The roads near the Electronic city are badly jammed. The area is highly inhabited by the IT workforce.
