New Delhi: SC (Schedule Caste) Corporation Chairman, Pidamarti Ravi, here on Wednesday criticised the BJP and the party's Vice-President nominee, M Venkaiah Naidu of exploiting "Madigas' by making false promise of categorisation of SC reservations.
Holding a dharna at Jantar Mantar here, seeking the categorisation of the reservations, Ravi said the BJP merely paid lip service to the Madiga cause.
While the State government had gone ahead and passed a resolution in favour of the categorisation, the BJP which promised to introduce the SC categorisation bill in Parliament had not done so far.
The BJP had promised to introduce 'A, B, C, D’ categorisation Bill within 100 days of its coming to the power, he reminded the BJP leadership.
