In fact the victory of Rama over Ravana also shares only such truth. When Rama wage war against Ravana, Rama was not a king, had no kingdom, did not had army but all he had was ‘monkey battalion’. On the contrary, Ravana was the king of Lanka, had army and battalions, money might and weaponry. But still Rama won because Rama wages Dharma Yudha.
Even the Jesus who was successfully charged and crucified by the then Roman rulers could not win over Jesus because Jesus spoke not just to people but to their consciousness.
Sometime our victory can stink worse than a rotten egg or decomposed fish.
The victory of Chinnamma faction of AIADMK has indeed send shock waves across Tamil Nadu than merrie melodies. Although the people knew that the Chinnamma faction has its numbers, but still wished it to fall. It has been proven beyond all doubts that it is not those outside the prison can imprison but people from inside prison also can imprison even the democracy of a state.
Some political parties stage managed and choreographed their script to achieve some space in prime time news because they were not prepared to face the people hence indirectly supported the victory of prison law.
The question is not about whether madam Sasikala is so bad and that is why many people in Tamil Nadu dislike and hate her. The absolute truth we should not burry under our carpet. Large section of people in Tamil Nadu dislikes her at this point of time. When such truth is so loud and obvious, the winner faction of AIADMK unfortunately caring nothing and fearing nothing, attempts to make Sasikala out of late Amma. To further fuel the fire, the faction also allowed the entire clan of Sasikala to become the natural owners / ‘class I legal heir’ of AIADMK and all the MLA’s and party workers are reduced to nothing but ‘odhuvar’ (people who chant) the holiness of madam Chinnamma.
Interestingly the people of Tamil Nadu also must remember the truth that when we sell our franchise for Rs. 500 or Ra.1000, we also loose our moral right to question our elected representatives because they have paid us and won so they also have the right to do what they think right and correct.
Today the victory of one faction of AIADMK over the other appears to have successfully defeated Tamil Nadu and in fact it was well fueled by none other than the principal opposition party just to catch some space in prime time news.
At perception angle, it appears that the principal opposition had tried its best to fish in trouble water than to respect the feelings and sentiments of larger section of people of Tamil Nadu who are vexed to vanquish the Chinnamma faction of AIADMK from the political map of Tamil Nadu.
From the drying pond most of the fishing eating birds compete with each other to catch more fishes and never realize the loud truth that soon the water body would dry off and no more food is going to be available for them to survive.
The real winner of the very disgusting and painful drama that had taken place in Tamil Nadu assembly was Mr. O Paneerselvam (OPS). Mr. Pannerselvam has asked the MLA’s to vote according to their conscience. It is already known that most of our politicians lack what is called conscience. But indeed such call of OPS has touched the conscience of people of Tamil Nadu.
If OPS continue his dialogue and conversation with people continuously, certainly a new hope the people of Tamil Nadu can have. Certainly that will be the beginning of the down fall of Drawidian and family politics in Tamil Nadu.
The responsible political parties that have all India presence must respectfully coronate OPS and his faction of AIADMK as real and original and must support him politically to reach out to people. People are yawning for a change and are looking for something nascent and different than what is already tested and experimented.
Combination of either of the one national party with OPS will certainly make difference because the AIADMK lead by Chinnamma can never reach out to people in near future.
The truthfulness of principal opposition party in providing clean and corruption free governance is still under suspect.
The honorable Prime Minister Mr. Modijee is highly respected in Tamil Nadu, so is OPS. The factor of respect, clean image and honesty can easily reach people provided one supports the other to develop the state and do something good for people of Tamil Nadu.
