Nizamabad: Commissioner of Police Kartikeya distributed pre-paid SIM cards to the policemen at his camp office in the town on Thursday in connection with the New Year.
Addressing the policemen, he said that 1372 BSNL SIM cards were being distributed to all the police personnel working in Bodhan, Armoor and Nizamabad divisions from the rank of a constable to that of a Police Commissioner.
Commissioner Kartikeya said that the group calls were free and on the other mobile phone, they could use up to Rs 100. One GB data would be free of cost, he added.
Nizamabad ACP D Anand Kumar, Special Branch Inspector Ch Venkanna, Nizamabad Rural Circle-Inspector of Police Ch Venkateshwarlu and others were present on the occasion.
