Participating in Rangoli competitions held at the college, girl students participated enthusiastically by preparing rangolis of various themes with natural colours.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Reddy said that they are conducting rangoli competitions every year. By conducting these kinds of competitions, students are exploring their talent and which also shows the respect they have for our culture.

“Women should attain higher positions in the society and be an inspiration to the future generations,” he advised.

G Teja Sri and Yedla Mounica won first and second prizes for their themes, ‘SHE Team’ and ‘Telugu tradition’ respectively. Junior College Principal M Devender Reddy, Judges Ghousia Begum, Jyothsna, Nalini, Uma, Sravanthi and others organised the programme.
