BJP leaders slam Congress leaders for spreading falsehood on demonetisation

​Nizamabad: State BJP leaders on Monday lashed out at the Congress leaders for making false claims and misleading people about demonetisation at the Jana Avedana Sammelanam which they conducted in the town on Sunday.

Speaking to the media, former MLA and State BJP in-charge leader Yendala Lakshminarayana said that the Congress leaders were spreading falsehood that it was they alone who were responsible for the formation of Telangana State.

Lakshminarayana said that the Congress did nothing for the country for the last 60 years and only exploited the poor and the downtrodden. Coming down heavily on Congress MLC Shabbir Ali for his baseless charges against the deal between BJP and MIM, he said that while in power, the Congress and the MIM were hand-in-glove with each other. He said that if the deal between the BJP and MIM was true, he could lodge a complaint with the Election Commission.

He said that the ban on high valued currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 helped in bringing out the black money. The BJP leader said that under the UPA regime, not even one terrorist was hanged and the Congress just procrastinated over the issue.
