District Superintendent of Police Shweta Reddy has been making efforts in implementing the concept of friendly-police and holding praja darbar on the first Saturday of every month in far off Bichkunda police circle office to resolve people’s problems.
Kamareddy: District Superintendent of Police Shweta Reddy has been making efforts in implementing the concept of friendly-police and holding praja darbar on the first Saturday of every month in far off Bichkunda police circle office to resolve people’s problems.
She took several measures to gain a first-hand knowledge of people’s problems in Madnur, Bichkunda and Jakkal mandals. The people are lauding the SP’s efforts at resolving their problems by holding Praja Darbars at their door-step.
The Superintendent of Police adopted Pedda Takkadpalli village for development and focused attention on providing drinking water and other amenities. She has been sensitising the villagers on the need to build an individual sanitary latrine.
On Saturday last, she interacted with school students in the village to enquire from them about their problems. She asked the local police officials to ensure that no ghutka was sold in the village.
The villagers’ joy knew no bounds as a senior officer of the rank of the Superintendent of Police is paying special attention to the problems of the village, including the drinking water problem.
