Nirmal: Claiming that anti-people administration is being run in the State, Telangana Telugu Desam Party working president Revanth Reddy on Monday called upon people to come forward to launch a big agitate to free themselves.

Addressing a public meeting in NTR stadium here organised as part of the TDP ‘praja poru’ campaign to express resentment towards its policies, Reddy used strong words to hit out at the TRS government headed by K Chandrasekhar Rao.

He accused KCR of changing his tune after coming to power. The TDP leader claimed that the TRS government totally failed to implement its prestigious schemes like ‘dalit basti’ and two-bedroom houses.
He demanded allocation of Rs.20,000 crore to the housing scheme in the ensuing budget and issue of notification by the TSPSC to fill 1.5 lakh posts.

Reddy alleged that students who agitated for separate Telangana were suffering because of lack of employment. Hence there was a need to issue the notification by TSPSC. He singled out Ministers Indrakaran Reddy and Jogu Ramanna for criticism, dubbing them inefficient.

Addressing the meeting, TTDP president L Ramana accused the government of ‘failing on all fronts’.
He assured the gathering that the party would fight the KCR regime along with the masses.

Among those who attended the meeting were former MP Ramesh Rathod, district TDP chief Lolam Shyamsundar, besides several local TDP leaders.
