Nandipet: Former MLC Arikela Narsa Reddy demanded the State government allocate special funds for education and employment of the poor among upper castes.
He along with other party leaders extended support to Armoor constituency TDP in-charge Rajaram Yadav on Thursday, who was on a two-day protest, demanding 52 per cent and 18 per cent reservations for BCs and SCs respectively, and special funds for the poor upper castes.
Speaking on the occasion, Narsa Reddy criticised the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for misleading people in the name of reservations. He said Telugu Desam working president Revanth Reddy would attend the protest programme and extend his support to the agitating member.
