Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States Bhanwarlal said that the voter enrollment programme has been extended to May 31 and urged all those who completed 18 years of age to enroll themselves as voters. 

Nizamabad: Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States Bhanwarlal said that the voter enrollment programme has been extended to May 31 and urged all those who completed 18 years of age to enroll themselves as voters.

Addressing the District Collectors through a video conference from Hyderabad on Tuesday, he said that though the last date was May 22, it has been extended for the convenience of the people.

Bhanwarlal said that the applications would be scrutinised on June 15 Participating in the video conference, District Collector Dr Yogitha Rana said that 12,392 persons have enrolled themselves as voters till Tuesday.

She said they could registers themselves as voters through forms 6,7, 8 and 8A. Joint Collector A Ravinder Reddy, Bodhan Sub-Collector Sikta Patnaik, Revenue Divisional Officer Vinod Kumar, Armoor RDO Kalidas, DRDA Venkateshwarlu and others were present.
