Three persons nabbed for smuggling gutka in Nizamabad

The police arrested three persons for transporting ten illegal gutka bags from Maharashtra to Nizamabad on Tuesday.
Bodhan: The police arrested three persons for transporting ten illegal gutka bags from Maharashtra to Nizamabad on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media, Circle-Inspector of Police Surender Reddy said that selling of gutka was banned in the State of Telangana.
He said that they were conducting raids on grocery shops and also pan shops for the past three days to prevent the smuggling of gutka.
He advised the people to provide information to the police if anybody was found indulging in the smuggling of gutka.
The accused were identified as Aneep, Shadullah and Farkhan. They were sent to judicial remand, he added.
