Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be seeking to settle old scores when they take on Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) in their Indian Premier League here at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium (RGICS) here on Saturday.

Having been beaten fair and square in an away match, Hyderabad will look to home support to gain sweet revenge although the task may not be as simple given the formidable names the opponents have in their ranks. True, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, Shane Watson and Sarfaraz Khan have not been as consistent but they are all proven match-winners.

Moreover, Hyderabad, which returns to action after five days, were done in by rains when they played Pune in their last outing. Virat and de Villiers are fresh from a massive 157-run second wicket partnership, whereas the host rum card as far as batting goes, skipper David Warner failed to click last time around. Sunrisers have won only those matches in which the skipper led from the front.

This is a problem that has to be addressed on a priority basis, though Shikhar Dhawan is picking up form. The fact is that its middle-order has not clicked so far. Eoin Morgan has scored only one half century in the last five innings.

The return of Ashish Nehra lends variety to the bowling attack In contrast to their batting strength, Bangalore’s chink is in its bowling that has been further impacted by the injury to Mitchell Starc. On that count, they will be hoping for something substantial from English pacer, Chris Jordan.

Hyderabad will be hoping to bat second as they have done well while chasing in the ongoing championship. Otherwise, it appears like the verdict could go either way.
