Shuttle double for Mithun and Shikha

U-17 BOYS DOUBLES TITLE FOR TS, AP

Air India shuttler Mithun M and Karnataka girl Shikha Gautam enjoyed a double while winning the Under-19 singles and doubles titles in their respective categories of the OSHON All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament-2016 at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium on Thursday.

In a significant development the top seeded pair of Sai Pavan Karri from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State’s Sri Krishna Sai Kumar Podile won the Under-17 boys doubles title after whipping the Uttar Pradesh pair of Siddhartha Mishra and Siddhant Salar 21-10, 21-13 .
Meanwhile, the Under-17 singles titles were won by Karnataka’s Bhardhvaj B M and top seeded Chandigarh player Aakarshi Kashyap, who clinched the bvys and girls summit clashes respectively.
