Siddhartha student wins biathlon gold

V Srujan, a physically challenged student of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science, stood first in biathlon and second in triathlon at the Second Andhra Pradesh State Inter-District Modern Pentathlon Championship held at Tiruchanoor in Chittoor district from July 22 to 24 in general category.

He will now represent AP at the national level biathlon championship to be held in Haryana from July 29 to 31. Siddhartha College principal MVN Padma Rao and Head of Department of Physical Education N Srinivasa Rao on Monday congratulated Srujan for winning two medals in the modern pentathlon championship.
