Hyderabad Cricket association (HCA) is springing into action. This comes hours after the scathing attack by the Supreme Court and the directions of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) boss Anurag Thakur, who has called upon all State Associations to pull up their socks.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Cricket association (HCA) is springing into action. This comes hours after the scathing attack by the Supreme Court and the directions of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) boss Anurag Thakur, who has called upon all State Associations to pull up their socks.

Swinging into action and to evolve their line of action, the HCA is to convene an executive meeting by the month-end, according to Association Secretary John Manoj.

Most associations are set to be his adversely following the apex court’s financial squeeze and urging the world’s richest cricketing body to forthwith stop funding till the State units toe the Lodha line. The meeting will take stock of the situation and look into all possible avenues before arriving at a concrete decision.

According to BCCI data, it rewarded HCA with a whopping Rs 28,75,000 for providing clean wickets and putting in place the best outfield for the IPL season 2016.
