Lokeswari excels in School Games Federation of India Athletics

Lokeswari of Saint George Girls High School located in Peda Avutapalli of Unguturu mandal in Krishna district has excelled in School Games Federation of India (SGFI) under 17 inter district athletics championship, which was held at Guntur recently.

The tenth class student Lokeswari participated in high jump and Triple jump events and won two gold medals in these events. She represented the Krishna district SGFI team and displayed excellent performance.

According to Saint George Girls High School HM Sister Showri, the girl has been selected for SGFI National Athletic Championship, which would be held at Rangreddy district of Telangana later. She congratulated the student Lokeswari and Physical Education Teacher (PET) Joji Kumari for winning two gold medals.

Unguturu mandal MPP G Indira, Vice MPP A Simha Chalam, Athletic Association secretary AV Raghavendra Rao, Cycle Polo Association secretary D Nagaraju and others congratulated Lokeswari.
