Sailors from NSS Bhopal were in spectacular form on Wednesday as they cornered glory with a clean sweep of Optimist Class on the concluding day of the Secunderabad Sailing club – Greenko Youth Open Regatta at Hussainsagar Lake. which ended today.

Their skills were tested to the maximum with an equal mix of light and strong wind conditions with those showing application emerging on top.
In the laser 4.7 class, Ram Milan Yadav won a remarkable seven of the 10 races. The Laser 4.7 class Girls category honours were grabbed by Mahak Mankar of NSS Bhopal with a total of 30 penalty points.In the intensely fought Optimist class, Shraddha Verma of NSS Bhopal pipped the field. She was followed by teammates Ashish Vishwakarma and Dawood Qureishi.
The 420 Class was a close call between the top two finishers, with just a two penalty point lead Ananya Chouhan and Ananya Siwatch took the gold ahead of Sanjay Reddy and Ajay Yadav. Both teams are from EMESA, Hyderabad.
