J Ramakrishna of Andhra Bank emerged as the first champion of the Anasuya Academy (All India) Open FIDE Rating chess tournament here on Sunday. The runaway winner, who performed consistently all through, aggregated 9.5 points in ten rounds to clinch the issue.
