Hyderabad: Manish Kumar and Tajjamul shared the day’s honours scoring two goals each in the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports' football tournament here on Wednesday.

In the junior boys qualifying matches played at Vijayanagar Sporting Club, Manish was instrumental in leading St Paul's High School to a convincing 5-1 victory against Sujatha High School. The winners who led 1-0 on the back of an 18th minute strike by Saud Ahmed stepped up in the second session to score four goals. Syed Qadri was the other goal-getter for St Paul's. Syed Noumaan pulled one back for Sujatha in the 53rd minute but it did little to alter the result.

Earlier in the day, Tajjamul stood out for Good Faith High School as they drubbed Urooj High School 5-0. The winners were on the money right from the word go scoring two goals in the first two minutes. Mohammad Muneer, Qadeer and Kareem too got on the score sheet as Good Faith romped home easy winners.

MS Creative got a walkover as Government High School failed to turn up while the Vidya Dayini Model High School and Vignan High School was rescheduled to another date.
