Two of the most significant aspects about the ensuing season are that they have roped in film actor and football enthusiast, Akhil Akkineni, who as the brand ambassador will be the face of HFL. What comes as music to the players is that there has been a substantial increase in prize-money.

Announcing the schedule Murad Jasani and Adil Mistry and Naved Keshwani, Chairman and Directors of HFL, said that they wished to provide ample opportunities to the budding talent, of which there is no dearth in the twin cities.

This time around, the champion will pocket a cool Rs three lakh while the runner-up will receive Rs 1.5 lakh. Rs two lakh has been earmarked for the best players.

Akhil Akkineni said after unveiling the team jerseys that he was an avid football fan. He exhorted fitness freak to take to six-a-side football, which held manifold benefits.
