Hyderabad: Riding on man of the match Rishith’s swashbuckling unbeaten 54 runs, Global CA registered a comfortable three-wicket win over Global Indian International School (GIIS) in the finals of the VHR Under-14 T-20 League Cricket Championship-2018 organised by Amberpet Play Ground Sports Association at Amberpet GHMC Play Ground. 

From GIIS, a valiant 76 by Rupesh went for a losing cause. Meanwhile, CCOB CA was awarded Fair Play Award and Balaji as player of the tournament. 

Other awards included Avinash (Best Batsman), Surya (Best Bowler), Anirudh (Best Fielder), Rutwik (Best Wicket-keeper), Raihan ( Emerging Player) and Neerad ( The Spirit of Cricket).  Later former Member of Parliament V Hanumatha Rao gave away the prizes.Brief scores: Finals: GIIS 164/9 (Rupesh 73, Sai Karthikeya 2/36, Vignesh 2/26) lost to GIobal CA: 165/7 in 19 overs (Hrishikesh 51, Rishith 54no).
