Hyderabad: Azhar Ali Khan spearheaded a dominant showing by Anwar ul Uloom College on the first day of the Inter-college Wrestling (Free Style & Greco Roman) Championship for Men-2018-19, under the aegis of Nrupatunga Degree College Kachiguda, at Lal Bahadur Stadium here on Wednesday. He clinched the 74kgs freestyle gold with a stellar showing.
Meanwhile, the Greco Roman 72kgs honours went to K Shiva from Nizam College.
Earlier, the two-day tournament was inaugurated by Prof K Deepla, Secretary, ICT, Men (OU) in the presence of T Bhoomaiah, Senior Physical director, Avanthi Degree College and Narsing Rao Yadav, Organizing Secretary.
